attorneys : Ryan M. Murphy
Mr. Murphy concentrates his practice in matters involving bankruptcy and corporate restructuring, creditor rights’ issues, loan restructurings, receiverships and litigation arising in bankruptcy cases. Ryan represents clients in a variety of roles, including debtors, creditors’ committees, secured and unsecured creditors, distressed asset purchasers and executory contract counterparties in Chapter 11 reorganization and liquidation cases, Chapter 7 cases and Chapter 15 cross-border insolvency cases. Ryan has significant litigation experience including contested plan confirmation proceedings, disputes involving the assumption and rejection of leases and contracts, claims objections and adversary proceedings involving avoidance of pre-petition transfers and fiduciary duty claims.
Before joining Potter Anderson, Ryan clerked for the Honorable Eduardo C. Robreno of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
