Ms. Voss concentrates her practice in the areas of labor and employment law, health law and general commercial litigation. She represents management in a wide variety of industries and in locations throughout the United States, providing counsel on general business matters as well as personnel policies and practices, including employee discipline and discharge, reductions in force, wrongful harassment and discrimination, and defending related matters in State and Federal Courts and before the EEOC and state agencies. Ms. Voss also represents public and private employers in union negotiations and arbitrations, as well as before the NLRB and the Delaware Public Employee Relations Board. Ms. Voss provides training for clients on employment related topics such as union avoidance, employee supervision, discipline and discharge, sexual and other wrongful harassment, and employment discrimination.
Ms. Voss was recognized in 2007, 2008 and 2009 by Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business for her work in the area of labor and employment law. She also has been named in the 2010 edition of The Best Lawyers in America, a preeminent peer-review based referral guide to the legal profession in the United States for her work in labor and employment law.
Ms. Voss currently serves on the firm's Diversity & Inclusion Committee and its Associates Committee.

Representative Matters
Ms. Voss has enjoyed particular success in obtaining judgment prior to trial for her clients, and has successfully tried to a jury cases on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants. Cases in which Ms. Voss has obtained summary judgment in favor of the employer-defendant include the matters Igwe v. E. I. du Pont de Nemours & Co. (aff'd 3d Cir.) and Messina v. E. I. du Pont de Nemours & Co. (aff'd 3d Cir.).
In addition to defending claims of employment discrimination in the Delaware Courts and at the administrative level, Ms. Voss serves as lead negotiator for the City of New Castle in its negotiations with the Association of Federal, State, County & Municipal Employees (AFSCME) and the Delaware Fraternal Order of Police (FOP). She also has negotiated collective bargaining agreements on behalf of several nursing homes in Delaware and counseled one of her clients through a successful union decertification.

Ms. Voss is a frequent lecturer on employment topics, including discrimination and harassment, the Americans With Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act and other state and federal legislation.
