Mrs. Silverstein is the Chair of the firm’s Litigation Group and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. She also heads the firm's Bankruptcy and Corporate Restructuring Group.
Mrs. Silverstein primarily represents non-debtor entities, including corporate secured and unsecured creditors, creditors' committees, agents to syndicated lending groups, commercial lenders and lender groups and acquirers in connection with bankruptcy and restructuring matters in a variety of industries and market sectors. She has also represented debtors and trustees.
Mrs. Silverstein has been recognized since its inception by Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business, The Client’s Guide, a nationally and internationally recognized ranking publication derived from peer and client interviews and reviews. Mrs. Silverstein has also been designated a “Highly Recommended Lawyer” by Practical Law Company’s Cross-Border Restructuring and Insolvency Handbook, 2007/8 Edition, and named to the 2007 Edition of The Best Lawyers in America (Bankruptcy and Creditor-Debtor Rights Law). She was also recognized as a "Finalist" in the third annual Lawdragon 500 Leading Lawyers in America list. Mrs. Silverstein is rated AV® in Martindale-Hubbell's peer review certification.
Mrs. Silverstein is one of three representatives from the District of Delaware serving on the Third Circuit Bankruptcy Conference. Mrs. Silverstein was appointed by Chief Judge Anthony Scirica of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit to serve on the 2005 Merit Section Committee for Bankruptcy Judgeship Vacancies in the District of Delaware. She was also recently appointed to the Board of Directors of The Historical Society of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Mrs. Silverstein founded and was the first Vice Chair of the Bankruptcy Law Section of the Delaware State Bar Association.

Creditor Committee representations include Aurora Foods, Inc., Epic Capital Corporation, Decora Industries, Inc., Mid-American Waste Systems, Inc., Amerilube, Inc., Camelot Music, Inc., Edisto Resources Corporation, The Icing, Inc. and Favorite Brands, Inc.
Debtor / Trustee representations include Avoca Natural Gas Storage, DR Holdings of Delaware, Golden Ocean Group Limited, One-Stop Wireless Pre-Paid Cellular, Pancoastal, Inc. and Wolleyhan Transport Company. Mrs. Silverstein also represented the Equity Committee in Continental Airlines Holdings, Inc.
