Rob Ward

Biography

Dr. Robert D. Ward's practice includes patent and trademark preparation and prosecution; non-infringement opinions; due diligence; and intellectual property licensing.

Technical areas of Rob’s practice include biotechnology (such as biochemistry, cell biology, microbiology, bacteriology), plant genetics, pharmaceuticals, pesticides and herbicides, screening and diagnostic assays, drug delivery devices, and treatment methods.

In addition to his law degree, Rob holds a Ph.D. in cellular and molecular biology. Prior to entering patent law, he acquired over 10 years of laboratory experience in molecular biology, developmental biology and endocrinology in graduate-level research and as a postdoctoral fellow at the Baylor College of Medicine.
