Partner Wendy Voss and associate Jennifer Penberthy Buckley were speakers at the 2018 Delaware State Human Resources Conference and Expo in Dover. Their presentation, titled “Alphabet Soup: What Is Happening in Federal Enforcement” covered the DOL, NLRB, OSHA, ACA, ADA, FMLA, FLSA, PDA, and other labor and employment issues. Potter Anderson was a gold sponsor of this year’s conference.

Voss represents management in a wide variety of industries, providing counsel on legal compliance, personnel policies and best practices, and benefit plan design and compliance. She represents clients before the EEOC, the Delaware Department of Labor, and other state agencies, as well as before the NLRB and the Delaware Public Employee Relations Board. She frequently provides strategic counsel to officers and directors and the entities they serve on both state and federal law issues, with a focus on on-going or anticipated litigation and litigation-avoidance.

Buckley’s practice focuses on employment, intellectual property and contract litigation in the state and federal courts of Delaware. She also provides counseling to clients regarding business and regulatory issues. Prior to joining the firm, she served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Karen L. Valihura of the Supreme Court of Delaware.
