Potter Anderson & Corroon Represents Board of NRG Energy, Inc. in Successful Election Contest

At the July 21 annual meeting, the shareholders of NRG Energy re-elected all four Class III NRG directors and rejected Exelon's proposal to expand NRG's board with its own slate of five director nominees.  Potter Anderson partners Michael B. Tumas, Donald J. Wolfe, Jr. and Michael K. Reilly acted as counsel to the NRG board in connection with the annual meeting, and Exelon's unsolicited tender offer.
