Potter Anderson & Corroon Adds 11 New Associates

Potter Anderson & Corroon LLP is pleased to announce 11 new associates have joined the firm.  They are:  Berton W. Ashman, Jr.; Kenneth L. Dorsney; Timothy R. Dudderar; Roxanne L. Houtman; Abigail Myers LeGrow; Gabriel R. MacConaill; Cheryl D. Maddox; Rakesh H. Mehta, Ph.D.; Andrew Skouvakis; Bradley W. Voss; and Jennifer C. Wasson.

Berton W. Ashman, Jr. focuses his practice on corporate and commercial litigation in the Delaware Court of Chancery.  He received his B.A. from James Madison University, his M.A. from University of Delaware, and his J.D. from University of Virginia.
Kenneth L. Dorsney focuses his practice primarily on patent and other commercial litigation.  He is also a registered patent attorney with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.  He received his B.A. and B.M.E. from the University of Delaware and his J.D. from University of Pittsburgh School of Law.  Before joining the firm, Mr. Dorsney served as a law clerk to the Honorable Kent A. Jordan, District Judge, United States District Court, District of Delaware, and, also as a law clerk to the Honorable Mary Pat Thynge, Magistrate Judge, United States District Court, District of Delaware.
Timothy R. Dudderar focuses his practice primarily on corporate and commercial litigation in the Delaware Court of Chancery.  He received his B.A. from University of Delaware and his J.D., with honors, from Villanova University School of Law.
Roxanne L. Houtman focuses her practice on counseling Delaware corporations on corporate law and governance issues.  She received her B.A. from University of Delaware, magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, and her J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law, summa cum laude, Order of the Coif.
Abigail Myers LeGrow focuses her practice primarily on corporate and commercial litigation in the Delaware Court of Chancery.  She received her B.A. from Susquehanna University, summa cum laude, and her J.D. from Pennsylvania State University Dickinson School of Law, summa cum laude.  Before joining the firm, Ms. LeGrow was a law clerk to the Honorable Jack. B. Jacobs, Associate Justice of the Delaware Supreme Court.
Gabriel R. MacConaill focuses his practice primarily on bankruptcy and commercial litigation.  He received his B.A. from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte, summa cum laude, and his J.D. from The Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University, summa cum laude.
Cheryl D. Maddox focuses her practice on public finance and commercial transactions.  While in law school, Ms. Maddox clerked for the Honorable C. Darnell Jones, III of the First Judicial District of Philadelphia, Commerce Court.  Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Maddox was commissioned as a bank examiner and worked with the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia.  She received her B.A. from Ursinus College and her J.D. from Widener University School of Law, cum laude.
Rakesh H. Mehta, Ph.D., focuses his practice on procuring and advising on patents in the chemical and pharmaceutical arts in particular.  Dr. Mehta is an inventor or co-inventor on a number of patents.  Prior to joining Potter Anderson, Dr. Mehta worked as an associate in patent litigation and prosecution in the Washington office of Morgan, Lewis and Bockius, LLP, and he had also worked as an in-house patent agent and also as a scientist at DuPont.  He received his B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from National Institute of Technology, India, and both his M.S. in Chemical Engineering and his Ph.D. in Chemical and Materials Science from University of Kentucky.  He received his J.D. from Widener University School of Law.
Andrew Skouvakis focuses his practice on organizational and operational issues relating to the utilization of alternative entities (limited liability companies, statutory trusts, partnerships, and special purpose corporations) in all types of business and commercial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, securitizations, structured finance, investment and hedge funds, and financing transactions involving special purpose bankruptcy-remote vehicles.  He received his B.A. from Pennsylvania State University and his J.D. from Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University, cum laude.  While in law school, Mr. Skouvakis clerked for the Honorable Mary D. France of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.
Bradley W. Voss focuses his practice on corporate and commercial litigation in the Delaware Court of Chancery. He received his A.B., with honors, from Harvard College and his J.D., with honors, from the University of Chicago Law School.  Prior to joining Potter Anderson, Mr. Voss served as judicial clerk to the Honorable Steven M. Colloton of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.
Jennifer C. Wasson focuses her practice primarily on employment law and general commercial litigation.  Prior to joining the firm, she was an associate at Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough, LLP in Columbia, SC, and also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Frank W. Bullock, Jr. of the United States District Court for the Middle District of North Carolina.  She received her B.A., summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from the College of William and Mary and her J.D. from University of North Carolina School of Law, summa cum laude.
