Potter Anderson & Corroon Partner John E. James Honored by ABA Recognized for work on Insurance Coverage Litigation Committee May 11, 2006
WILMINGTON, Del. - Potter Anderson & Corroon LLP is pleased to announce that partner John E. James has been honored by the American Bar Association for his work as vice co-chair of its Insurance Coverage Litigation Committee and as editor-in-chief of the committee’s publication, Coverage. Mr. James received his award April 21 at the Annual Meeting of the ABA Section of Litigation in Los Angeles.
The Insurance Coverage Litigation Committee is one of the largest committees in the Litigation Section and the ABA, and it is comprised of both attorneys who represent policyholders and those who represent insurers in litigation. Mr. James was recognized for his “energetic and creative hard work” on behalf of the committee in 2005-2006. He has been a member of the committee for more than 15 years, serving in various positions including vice chair since 2002. He is a partner at Potter Anderson and represents Fortune 500 clients and other corporate policyholders in litigation against their insurance companies with respect to coverage for environmental, products, D&O, and other liabilities.
