Potter Anderson Chairs Panel at University of Texas Law School Institute

Potter Anderson & Corroon partner Mark A. Morton is chairing a panel "Managing Conflicts Part 1: How to Address the Competing Interests of Common and Preferred Stockholders," at the University of Texas Law School 2010 Mergers and Acquisitions Institute. Vice Chancellor Laster of the Delaware Court of Chancery will be on the panel. The Institute will take place September 30 – October 1 in Houston, Texas, and will examine the latest deal trends, structures, pitfalls and opportunities from the perspectives of strategic buyers and private equity investors.

Mr. Morton is partner in the firm’s Corporate Group and focuses his practice on corporate counseling, governance and opinion work. He regularly advises clients regarding all aspects of the Delaware General Corporation Law, governance of Delaware corporations, and fiduciary obligations, both in the context of daily business affairs and with respect to specific corporate transactions. Mr. Morton also authors opinion letters on a wide range of matters of Delaware corporation law.
