Partner Bill Denny co-chaired a meeting of the Smart Contracts and Blockchain Subcommittee at the ABA’s 2020 Cyberspace Law Institute in Phoenix, Ariz.

The meeting focused on recent developments in smart contracts and blockchain technology, including:

  • Pre-approval of Blockstack to hold the first regulated token offering
  • SEC enforcement actions
  • The LAO and Moloch DAO, decentralized autonomous organizations, formed as Delaware LLCs

Denny has a business and litigation practice, focusing on commercial and corporate transactions, vendor management, mergers and acquisitions, data privacy and security and information technology.
