Senior counsel Josh Martin presented on diversity for the Arkansas Public Service Commission’s Diversity Summit on February 24 at the Clinton Presidential Library in Little Rock, Ark. This year’s summit ― Opportunities in Energy ― featured policy makers, utility executives, diversity experts and higher education professionals facilitating discussions about building and sustaining pipelines to careers in the utility industry. The primary goal of the summit was to provide awareness to higher education professionals, particularly at Historically Black Colleges and Universities, on the opportunities in the energy industry for graduating students.

Martin is the former president and CEO of Verizon Delaware, where he was responsible for all aspects of its telecommunications business within the state of Delaware, including regulatory, financial and operational matters. Prior to his corporate career, he served as a Delaware Superior Court Judge and served on the Delaware Public Service Commission, including three years as chairman.
