Potter Anderson & Corroon LLP is pleased to announce that it has chosen Bindu A. Palapura to be a member of the 2016 class of Pathfinders, a new program designed by the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) to train early-career attorneys in critical career development strategies including programming on leadership and network development.

“As a leading Delaware law firm, we understand that attracting and retaining a superior professional team is a key distinguishing factor in delivering the highest quality work for our clients.” said Michael B. Tumas, Chair of Potter Anderson. “Continuing our ongoing commitment to associate development through our involvement in the LCLD as a Member law firm, we are happy to have Bindu in the Pathfinder Program.”

“This is a great honor for Bindu,” said William L. Chapman, Chief Talent and Diversity Officer and Senior Counsel. “It is evidence that she has been identified as a rising star, with the potential to assume a leadership role, not only in our firm, but in the profession.”

According to LCLD President Robert J. Grey, Jr., the LCLD Pathfinder Program offers participants “intensive in-person training, online experiential learning, and opportunities to network with peers and esteemed LCLD Fellows in small group gatherings. We believe it’s a program that can help catapult a person’s career forward.”

Founded in 2009, LCLD is a growing organization of more than 240 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners who are personally committed to creating a truly diverse legal profession. The LCLD Pathfinder Program was piloted last year among a select number of LCLD Member law firms and corporations. It is an initiative that has filled a gap in LCLD programming, targeting junior associates and the youngest members of corporate law departments. For information, visit www.lcldnet.org.
