Potter Anderson represents borrowers, lenders, underwriters, corporate trustees and other participants in a wide range of financing transactions. In these transactions, we draw upon experience in commercial law, real estate, trust law, taxation, bankruptcy and general finance. Transactions essentially fall into these categories: traditional commercial lending, and corporate trust services and bank regulatory matters.
Potter Anderson represents business clients as borrowers and financial institutions as lenders in financing transactions, including real estate mortgages, asset-backed loans, securitizations, project financings, lines of credit, and unsecured loans. Transactions range from small individual entity loans to large multimillion dollar credit and lending packages. We negotiate, document and render opinions with respect to all types of commercial loan transactions.
In the banking arena, Potter Anderson provides Delaware compliance and regulatory advice to state chartered, national and international banks, including representing such banks before the State Banking Commissioner and in a wide variety of banking transactions.
