Speaking Engagement

Potter Anderson lawyers Josh Martin and Kathleen Furey McDonough were among the speakers at the Delaware State Bar Association’s annual Bench and Bar Conference on June 9, 2017, at the Chase Center of the Riverfront in Wilmington, Del.

Martin, a former Delaware Superior Court judge, moderated a panel titled “So Called Judges?” about the parameter of free speech in criticizing courts and their decisions and the lawyer’s role in the process.

McDonough, an experienced litigator and chair-elect of Potter Anderson’s Executive Committee, participated on a panel titled “What Judges Do Well and What They Can Do Better in Helping Litigators Litigate.” The panel explored the best practices of courts in allowing litigation to run smoothly and efficiently.
