Barrist Discusses How to Create a Development Strategy at Jumpstart Wilmington Program

Joy Barrist will be a speaker for Jumpstart Wilmington’s current cohort of future developers in the City of Wilmington. She will discuss how to create a development strategy and how to identify your team.

Barrist offers a full range of commercial real estate law services involving the finance, acquisition, sale, lease and development of complex multimillion-dollar real estate projects throughout Delaware, Pennsylvania, around the country and internationally. She regularly represents banks and lending institutions, private equity firms, non-profit organizations, investors, developers, owners, landlords, and tenants.

Jumpstart Wilmington is a joint venture between Cinnaire, a nonprofit financial partner that supports community and economic revitalization initiatives, and the University of Delaware’s Biden School of Public Policy and Administration. The program promotes the growth of local developer capacity through training to support neighborhood revitalization and community development solutions.
