Mozal Moderates Panel Focusing on Delaware's Recent Stockholder Activism Jurisprudence

Speaking Engagement

At the 2024 ABA Business Law Section Spring Meeting in Orlando, partner Nick Mozal will moderate a CLE program entitled "Case Law Matters: Delaware's Recent Stockholder Activism Jurisprudence." This program will focus on Delaware decisions addressing poison pills, advanced notice bylaws, informational access, and other topics about the interplay between stockholder activists and corporations. Panelists include Hon. Paul Fioravanti Jr., Vice Chancellor of the Delaware Court of Chancery.

Mozal focuses his practice on corporate and commercial litigation in the Delaware Court of Chancery and Supreme Court. His experience includes litigating stockholder class and derivative claims, and statutory proceedings under the Delaware General Corporation Law, such as actions concerning advancement, appraisal, and contested board elections. He also counsels directors and special committees regarding issues of corporate governance and fiduciary duties.
