DuPont Sells Sontara Business to Jacob Holm; Potter Anderson Serves as Counsel

DuPont Protection Technologies (DuPont) and Jacob Holm announced today completion of the sale of the DuPont Sontara business to Jacob Holm.  

Jacob Holm has acquired Sontara assets at DuPont sites in Asturias, Spain; Old Hickory, Tennessee and approximately 240 employees worldwide, primarily in Spain and the United States.  

Sontara is a global nonwovens business that produces products used in a variety of medical and wipes applications. Jacob Holm is a leading company for spunlaced nonwoven fabrics.

The Potter Anderson team was led by partners Michael B. Tumas and Roxanne L. Houtman.
