Potter Anderson Partner, Kevin R. Shannon, Elected Fellow of American College of Trial Lawyers

Potter Anderson & Corroon is pleased to announce that Kevin R. Shannon, a partner in the firm’s Corporate Group, has been elected a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. Fellowship to this organization is extended only by invitation to experienced trial lawyers and whose professional careers have been marked by the highest standards of ethical conduct, professionalism, civility and collegiality.

Mr. Shannon is the immediate past chair of the firm’s Corporate Group and practices primarily in the areas of corporate and commercial litigation, including substantial experience in litigating stockholder class, derivative and other actions in the Delaware Court of Chancery. He also has significant experience in litigating and providing advice regarding various proceedings under the Delaware General Corporation Law, such as actions for appraisal, indemnification, and dissolution. Kevin also has been involved in numerous cases involving partnerships, limited partnerships, and limited liability companies, and frequently counsels directors, stockholders, and other parties on their rights and obligations under Delaware law. 

The American College of Trial Lawyers is composed of members of the trial bar from the United States and Canada and is one of the most widely respected professional trial organizations in America. Founded in 1950, the College is dedicated to maintaining and improving the standards of trial practice, the administration of justice and the ethics of the profession. Membership is limited to no more than one percent of the total lawyer population of any state or province.
