Mike Maxwell Appointed to North American Regional Forum Council

WILMINGTON, Del. (August 14, 2026) – Potter Anderson & Corroon LLP is pleased to announce that partner Michael P. Maxwell has been appointed to the inaugural Council of the North American Regional Forum (NARF) of the International Bar Association (IBA).

NARF unites legal professionals from the US, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean, providing a platform for collaboration on key business law issues like corporate, finance, trade, and litigation. NARF addresses regional concerns, including NAFTA, foreign investment, and cross-border security, while also tackling global challenges such as climate change and international trade. It promotes North American perspectives within IBA programs, ensuring representation on panels and committees.

Maxwell was selected as one of 21 founding Council members from a highly competitive pool of applicants across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. As a founding member of the Council, Maxwell will help support NARF's activities and strategic initiatives, while contributing to the organization's efforts to advance engagement and thought leadership throughout the North American legal profession.

Maxwell advises clients on matters of Delaware corporate and business law in transactions involving Delaware alternative entities and corporations, including investment and private equity fund transactions, fund formations, joint ventures, cross border transactions, mergers, acquisitions, asset sales and purchases, dissolutions and restructurings.
