William Chapman Honored with Inaugural DELREC Champion of the Year Award

The DELREC Champion of the Year award recognizes an individual whose leadership and dedication have meaningfully advanced law-related education in Delaware. Following this inaugural year, the award will be presented annually to celebrate those who make a lasting impact on DELREC’s mission and help strengthen understanding of the law throughout the First State.

The DELREC Awards Committee shared that Chapman was selected for his unwavering support of young attorneys and students. His commitment includes volunteering his time, raising awareness in the community, advocating for law-related student education, meeting with students individually, securing funding for internship opportunities, collaborating with peers across law firms, and serving on career panels. Above all, Chapman stands out for the connections he builds with DELREC students and the inspiration he brings to their legal journeys.
