Barrist and O’Toole Discuss Impact of Delaware LLC Act Amendments on Real Estate Deals
Partners Joy Barrist and Matt O’Toole presented a webinar titled “Recent Delaware LLC Act Amendments: What You Need to Know for Your Real Estate Deal.” The program, sponsored by the ABA’s Section of Real Property, Trust and Estate Law, covered the recent amendments to the Delaware Limited Liability Company Act, including division of an LLC and creation of a registered series. Other topics included:
- How these new tools affect real estate deals
- What do borrower, lenders, owners and investors need to know
- How these structures affect title insurance
