An employment counselor and litigation, Buckley advises employers on adopting and implementing effective policies consistent with federal and state law; responding to employee requests for leave and accommodation; avoiding and responding to discrimination claims; and more. Her employee benefits practice includes drafting and revising welfare benefit plans, deferred compensation and executive compensation plans, and Section 125 or “cafeteria” plans and “wrap” documents. She also counsels employers in drafting and negotiating enforceable employment agreements, restrictive covenants, retention agreements, and separation agreements.
