The Delaware Corporate Law Anniversary Symposium in Wilmington, Del., celebrated three milestones in Delaware law: the 225th anniversary of the establishment of the Delaware Court of Chancery, the 50th anniversary of the 1967 General Revision of the Delaware General Corporate Law and the 25th anniversary of the Delaware Limited Liability Company Act.

Potter Anderson was proud to sponsor the symposium and have two partners as program speakers:

  • Matt O’Toole, immediate past chair of the Council of the Corporation Law Section of the Delaware State Bar Association, participated in a panel titled “Beyond the Corporation.”
  • Myron Steele, former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Delaware, moderated a panel titled “The Court of Chancery, the DGCL and the World.” Panelists included lawyers from Amsterdam, London, São Paulo, Taipei, Tel Aviv and Toronto.
