Reed Joins Panel Discussion With Sen. Coons on Bioscience Innovation

Dr. Janet E. Reed joined a Delaware BioScience Association panel for an in-depth discussion with U.S. Senator Chris Coons on issues critical to the future of bioscience innovation. Topics included the new Biden Administration, Democratic control of the Senate, legislative action addressing the impact of COVID-19, intellectual property protection and strengthening domestic manufacturing.

Head of Potter Anderson’s intellectual property transactional and counseling practice, Dr. Reed focuses her practice on patents related to biotechnological inventions in food, medicine and agriculture. In addition to her law degree, she holds a Ph.D. in biochemistry and a Master’s degree in plant pathology. While her clients span a variety of industries and include large and small companies, Janet is particularly proud of her efforts to provide IP counseling and guidance to the entrepreneurial community in Delaware.
