Tumas Comments on Direct Listings and the Future of IPOs at M&A and Governance Forum

At the 2020 Forum on M&A and Governance hosted by the Berkeley Center for Law and Business, Michael Tumas was an expert questioner on the “Direct Listings and the Future of IPOs” panel.

Tumas concentrates his practice in the area of corporate law with specific emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, issues of internal governance, and commercial transactions involving Delaware corporations and other business entities. His experience on dual- and multi-class structures includes serving as Delaware counsel on the initial public offering of social media network Pinterest.

The forum explored the new economy and its implications in the year ahead, along with regulatory deal risk and process innovations in M&A, capital raising, and data security and privacy. Potter Anderson is a sponsor of the event.
