The December 26, 2012, article appearing in the New York Times includes the sale of Quest Software among “The Triumphs and Failures of Wall Street Deal Makers in 2012” as identified by the Deal Professor.  The annual column grades the best deals and deal makers of 2012. Potter Anderson attorneys Mark Morton, Brad Davey and Pam Millard represented a special committee of Quest’s board in a strategy described in the article as winning “the shareholder appreciation award and an A for its laserlike focus on shareholder value.”
