Potter Anderson Serves as Counsel to DuPont in $125 Million Sale to Syngenta

Potter Anderson & Corroon served as counsel to DuPont in a $125 Million divestiture of a professional products insecticide business to Syngenta AG, the world’s largest maker of agrochemicals. Under the agreement, Syngenta will acquire the pest control brands Advion and Acelepryn and other intellectual property. The Swiss seed company aims to expand their range of products for golf course and lawn care professionals and ornamental growers, while also adding to its home pest control product portfolio.  The deal is expected to close in the fourth quarter.  The Potter Anderson team was led by Michael B. Tumas and Roxanne L. Houtman.
