Potter Anderson & Corroon is pleased to announce that Mark A. Morton, a partner with the firm’s corporate practice, will be speaking at the 7th Annual Southeastern M&A/Private Equity Forum in Atlanta, Georgia.  Mr. Morton is presenting on the topic, “Latest Judicial Development Affecting M&A.”

Mr. Morton focuses his legal practice on corporate counseling, governance and opinion work, advising clients regarding all aspects of the Delaware General Corporation Law, governance of Delaware corporations, and fiduciary obligations, both in the context of daily business affairs and with respect to specific corporate transactions.  He also authors opinion letters on a wide range of matters of Delaware corporation law.  Mr. Morton serves as vice chair of the Mergers & Acquisitions Committee of the Business Law Section of the ABA.

Co-hosted by WestLegal Center and the Atlanta Bar Association, the program will explore expectations for the remainder of 2011 and into 2012 for middle market M&A and private equity and new trends in deals.
