Etta R. Wolfe Elected Secretary of Delaware Network of the International Womens Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation
Potter Anderson & Corroon LLP is pleased to announce the election of Etta R. Wolfe as secretary of the Delaware Network of the International Womens Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC), the premier organization for women in the restructuring and insolvency professions. In this role, Ms. Wolfe will coordinate communications with the board and the membership to foster and develop the role of women in the restructuring community both within Delaware and nationally.
Ms. Wolfe focuses her legal practice on complex bankruptcy issues including the sale and acquisition of companies in bankruptcy, financing and litigation, as well as general bankruptcy issues. She primarily represents debtors and is also involved in creditor representations.
Ms. Wolfe works with clients in a variety of industries, including health care, telecommunications, manufacturing and retail. She guides them through the complexities of maintaining and improving business operations during the bankruptcy process. She regularly counsels debtors and creditors on the transition into bankruptcy, debtor-in-possession financing, plans of reorganization and sales of assets, as well as general finance, contract, employment, environmental and union related matters.
With chapters in Asia, Europe and North America, IWIRC serves as a global network and educational resource for women. Members include bankers, corporate-turnaround professionals, legal and financial advisors and other restructuring practitioners. The Delaware Network of the IWIRC was formed in 2003.
