Potter Anderson Advises CKE Restaurants, Inc. in Sale to Apollo Global Management
Potter Anderson & Corroon partner, Mark A. Morton, is advising the Board of Directors of CKE Restaurants, Inc., in connection with its acquisition by an affiliate of Apollo Global Management. The CKE transaction is valued at approximately $1.0 billion and is expected close by the end of the second quarter of CKE's FY2011.
Mr. Morton, a partner in the firm’s Corporate Group, is frequently engaged by corporations and boards of directors to provide advice on statutory and fiduciary duty issues raised in the M&A context. He serves as Vice Chair of the Mergers & Acquisitions Committee of the ABA’s Business Law Section.
