Potter Anderson & Corroon LLP Recognized by General Counsel for Superior Client Service in BTI Survey

Only Delaware-Based Firm Included

December 1, 2009

Potter Anderson & Corroon LLP is pleased to announce it has been recognized by general counsel for its superior client service in The BTI Client Service A-Team 2010: The Survey of Law Firm Client Service Performance.  Potter Anderson is one of the few select firms recognized by clients in a field of hundreds of law firms serving Fortune 1000 companies and the only Delaware-based firm to be included.

“This recognition is of utmost importance to us, because it comes straight from our clients,” said Donald J. Wolfe, Jr., chairman of Potter Anderson.  “We have always held our firm to very high standards, but to be acknowledged – strictly for our client service abilities – is quite an honor.”

This fact-based, comprehensive analysis by The BTI Consulting Group – the leading provider of strategic research to law firms and general counsel – draws on more than 2,100 client interviews conducted over the span of nine years.  This year’s analysis relies on 240 independent, one-on-one interviews with corporate counsel to delineate – by name and rank – precisely how more than 200 law firms perform along the 17 activities driving superior client relationships.  The only way to earn a score in this ranking is to be recognized, unprompted, by a firm’s client as delivering client service excellence.

Some of the 17 activities used to select and evaluate outside counsel include: the level of client focus; quality of the firm’s products; ability to meet scope and budget; breadth of services provided; regional reputation of the firm; and the firm’s international capabilities.
