Chenoweth-Shook Appointed to Board of Directors of Delaware Bar Foundation

Clarissa Chenoweth-Shook has been appointed by Chief Justice Collins J. Seitz, Jr. to the board of directors of the Delaware Bar Foundation, effective June 30.

A trial lawyer who has represented clients in each of Delaware’s state courts and in the United States District Court for the District of Delaware, Chenoweth-Shook’s practice focuses on representing companies and individuals in commercial litigation. Before entering private practice, she clerked for two Delaware Superior Court judges: the Honorable Joseph R. Slights, III and the Honorable Charles E. Butler.

The Delaware Bar Foundation is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to improve the administration of justice in Delaware through its support of organizations that provide legal services to underserved populations and programming that enhances public respect for the law and fosters knowledge of citizenship rights and responsibilities. The foundation’s board is composed 12 members serving four-year terms.
