Potter Anderson Advises ETE Conflicts Committee on Simplification Transaction to Create ~$90 Billion Enterprise

Energy Transfer Equity, L.P. (ETE) and Energy Transfer Partners, L.P. (ETP) have entered into a merger agreement providing for the acquisition of ETP by ETE for $27 billion in ETE units. Expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2018, the transaction creates an approximately $90 billion enterprise under a simplified structure.

Potter Anderson’s team serving as counsel to the ETE conflicts committee was led by partners Mark Morton and Tom Mullen with associates Alyssa Ronan, Rebecca Salko and Noah Chamberlain.
