Potter Anderson Advises on Private Equity Deal of the Year Finalist

In advance of its annual awards ceremony, The Deal announced that the $6.9 billion acquisition of Staples, Inc. by Sycamore Partners LLC was a finalist for Private Equity Deal of the Year. Potter Anderson, led by partners Mark Morton, Tom Mullen and Brad Davey, served as Delaware counsel to Staples’ transaction committee.

The Deal Awards ceremony will be held on June 21 in New York.
