Potter Anderson Bankruptcy Partner Christopher Samis Named a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America

Potter Anderson & Corroon LLP is pleased to announce that Christopher M. Samis, a partner in the firm’s Bankruptcy group, has been inducted as a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America (LCA).

The LCA is a trial lawyer honorary society comprised of less than one-half of one percent of American lawyers. Fellows are selected based on effectiveness and accomplishments in litigation, both at the trial and appellate levels, and superior ethical reputation. Membership is limited to 3,500 lawyers, and includes attorneys in private practice, in-house counsel and governmental attorneys.

Chris Samis focuses his practice on corporate bankruptcy, business restructuring and other insolvency-related matters. He routinely represents debtors, official committees, individual creditors and other parties-in-interest in chapter 11 and chapter 7 bankruptcy cases before the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. Chris’s bankruptcy and restructuring representations span a wide variety of industries including the retail, manufacturing, restaurant, telecommunications, publishing, pharmaceutical, biotech, energy, finance, entertainment, transportation, real estate and construction industries. Chris also represents assignees for the benefit of creditors in the Chancery Court of Delaware.
