Biography
Drew Smith litigates a wide range of commercial and corporate disputes in Delaware’s state and federal courts.
His practice focuses on breach of contract, fraud, and trade secret claims in the Delaware Superior Court’s Complex Commercial Litigation Division, Delaware’s Court of Chancery, and the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware. Drew also represents clients in litigation and arbitration concerning software implementation, pharmaceutical licensing agreements, asset purchase agreements, and noncompete provisions.
Drew is active in the Young Lawyers Division of the ABA, serving as an associate editor of the After the Bar and The Young Lawyer publications and a team member of the First Generation Initiative, where he works to provide resources and support to first-generation lawyers and law students.
During law school, Drew served as a law clerk in Washington University School of Law’s First Amendment and Appellate Clinics. Prior to law school, he was the station manager of the University of Arkansas Television Station (UATV) and led the daily operations of a staff that won a 2019 NATAS Mid-America Emmy for Best Newscast.
