Biography

Sybil Fan is an associate in the firm's Corporate Litigation Group. She focuses her practice on corporate and business litigation involving Delaware entities, including corporations, limited liability companies, limited and general partnerships, and statutory and common law trusts. Her work involves matters arising under Delaware’s General Corporation Law, alternative entity statutes, and the Delaware Uniform Commercial Code. Sybil also has experience with disputes related to commercial real estate and financing matters, including issues connected to real estate acquisitions, construction projects, and loan modifications, and provides third-party legal opinions addressing Delaware law issues.

While in law school, Sybil served as a judicial intern for Magistrate Judge Sherry R. Fallon of the United States District Court for the District of Delaware. She was an Executive Articles Editor of Washington University Global Studies Law Review and Vice President of the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association (APALSA). Sybil also served as a Teaching Assistant for the Legal Writing course for first-year students and worked as a student attorney in the First Amendment Clinic. She received the Excellence in Oral Advocacy Award for achieving distinction in her First-Year Legal Practice Oral Arguments. Sybil is fluent in Mandarin.
