Morales Moderates Discussion on Legal Solutions for Issues Facing LGBTQ+ BIPOC Folks in Delaware

At a Delaware State Bar Association CLE presentation, Potter Anderson associate Katelin Morales moderated a panel discussion focusing on legal solutions to issues facing the LGBTQ+ BIPOC community in Delaware. 

Sponsored by the Multicultural Judges and Lawyers Section and the LGBTQ+ sections of the Delaware State Bar Association, the panel discussion explored the Delaware legal community and issues facing queer Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (“BIPOC”) Delaware residents, as well as highlighting queer BIPOC attorneys in the Bar.

Morales serves on the board of the Multicultural Judges and Lawyers section of the DSBA and is a member of the firm's General Litigation Group. She focuses her practice on complex commercial restructurings in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. She has represented various types of clients through the chapter 11 process, such as debtors, lenders, official committees of unsecured creditors, secured creditors, and indenture trustees. Katelin also has experience litigating complex commercial disputes that arise in chapter 11 proceedings. She represents debtors and other parties in interest in a wide range of bankruptcy litigation, including contested plan confirmations, fraud, and avoidance actions.
